Talking Brexit with the British in Spain II

In the second report from her in-depth research with UK citizens who have made their homes and lives in Spain, Karen reflects on the similarities between leave and remain voters and highlights how Brexit taps into deeply emotional understandings of national identity and belonging. She also summarises what the draft withdrawal agreement says about citizens’ rights and what this means for UK citizens in Spain. As she shows, while current agreements permit some reassurance, people are still seeking information about how to continue their lives as before.
